# Wendy's founder, Dave Thomas, dead at 69

Wendy's restaurant founder, Dave Thomas, is [dead at age 69](http://biz.yahoo.com/apf/020108/obit_thomas_8.html). I think people should eat Big Bacon Classics all this week in hommage of this fine individual. Wendy's is probably the best fast food joint out there, but I don't understand why they don't serve onion rings.   
  
They don't say *how* he died, but he did have quadruple bypass heart surgery in '96, and he was on kidney dialysis since last year. Poor Dave, he won't be in any more dumb commercials.
