Widescreen is king! Perhaps people aren't so stupid after all...

On Amazon.com's DVD best seller list the widescreen versions of both Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's (Philosopher's) Stone and Ocean's 11 are outselling their pan & scan counterparts. Whether this is intelligence being displayed on the part of the consumers or just dumb luck, perhaps this is the beginning. If Blockbuster can be converted to carry widescreen over pan & scan, I believe we will have won.

This is in stark contrast to only last November, when the pan & scan Grinch was outselling the widescreen version.
